Industrial Sewing of a Leatherette Cushion Pad for a Horse Trailer
Project description:
We were recently contracted by a manufacturer of trailers to fabricate a custom cushion used on one of their horse trailer lines. They supplied us with specifications and an engineering drawing which called out dimensions of 45” in length, 14” in width, and 2.5” thick, and required an embossed corporate logo.
To fabricate a truly durable cushion required the use of robust materials, the cushion was built on a corrugated plastic base; with poly foam padding covered with expanded vinyl leatherette. Using our Gerber computerized cutter, 10kw RF bar sealer, and Adler 267 single needle sewing machine, all 100 of the required orders were completed quickly, and to a high level of quality.
