Industrial Sewing of a TV Bag for the Electronics Industry

At John Boyt Industrial Sewing, we specialize in the engineering and fabrication of high quality, custom sewn products. The project highlighted here was designed for use as a TV bag, and would be used to transport flat screen TVs that are used for sales presentations. With basic dimensions of the TV we fully designed and engineered the bag with features such as an embossed company logo, accessory pockets, and enough padding to ensure the TV gets to where it’s going undamaged.

Composed of various materials such as 1000 denier textured polyester, Nylon pack cloth, closed foam, as well as a #10 Nylon coil zipper with pulls. Added rigidity was provided by a high density polyethylene stiffener, and Polypro webbing. The bag featured dimensions of 27” in height, and 32” in width, and is 9” thick.

We manufactured 80 of these bags utilizing advanced sewing equipment; raw material were cut using our 5” Eastman vertical knife, and a Gerber computerized pattern system.

A Brother computerized pattern tacker was utilized as well as various sewing machines including our 267 Adler Single needle, a Juki double needed, and a Consew open arm single needle. Our high quality standards are maintained through continuous in-process inspections and a final inspection of each completed bag.
